Good morning, everyone!
We’re facing an issue where not all registrations are directly approved — would it be possible to perform some manual approval via master data once the customer’s information is available?
Good morning, everyone!

Hey @Gabs1998, are you talking about a B2B store? Can you give more details about what these registrations are, why some registrations aren’t approved directly, and how the approval process is handled today?
Yes, it’s a B2B store. From the little contact I had with the store, I noticed that manually approving was something they had already done before. Since I don’t have the knowledge of how it’s possible to do that, I’d like to know if there’s such a possibility and how to go about it.
Hey @Gabs1998, hope you’re doing well!
I’d suggest following this article Configure B2B self-service store, which explains the entire configuration process in detail.
Additional tip: ideally, once everything is up and running, whoever is responsible for approving these customers should always receive a new notification whenever a new record arrives in Master Data. A common approach for this is to set up triggers, where you configure a notification routine to send an email to the person in charge.
See more information on how to configure triggers in Master Data:
If using VTEX Legacy → Create trigger in Master Data v1
If using VTEX IO → Setting up triggers in Master Data v2
I hope this information helps you out.
Cheers,
Estevão.
