Hey, everyone! How’s it going?
Anyone here with Zoom expertise?
I have some questions about VTEX’s native integration with
Zoom. We currently have an account already set up with the Zoom connector.
When I opened the connection form, I noticed there are very few fields to fill in.
The official VTEX documentation (link) mentions that you need to create a
product collection, but it wasn’t clear what the relationship is between that collection and the
actual integration.
Another thing is that the Zoom connector configuration is quite limited compared
to other connectors available on the platform. The documentation even instructs you to send
an email directly to Zoom with the integration details.
- Regarding price display in Zoom’s storefronts:
The native connector doesn’t let you configure whether the base price, list price, or
a discount logic similar to Google Shopping is shown (where the final price is calculated via the Checkout API, as in the case of Pix payments).
With that in mind, we’d like to better understand:
What role does the native integration play in determining the price displayed on Zoom? The merchant mentioned that the Pix price used to show up but then disappeared.
Is this behavior (showing the Pix price or installment price) controlled by a setting in VTEX, in the XML, or directly within the Zoom environment?
Thanks in advance for any help!
