Buy 2 items together and get 1 free gift

Buying SKU 1 + SKU 2, the customer gets SKU 3 as a free gift.

The problem is that when configuring this rule in the Buy and Get promotion, the system allows the customer to buy any one of the SKUs to receive the gift, instead of requiring them to add both items to the cart to get SKU 3.

Does anyone have a solution?

Good morning!!!

Have you tried adding only the SKUs tied to the promotion?

@crm1988 how’s it going?

In theory, as our friend @Melo mentioned, by tying the SKUs of the products that need to be purchased to earn the free gift item as shown below:

It would make the promotion work — have you already done that?

Big hug!

I want to create a campaign where, by purchasing SKU 1 + SKU 2, the customer receives SKU 3 as a gift.

The problem is that when configuring this rule in Buy and Win, VTEX allows the gift to be unlocked by purchasing either item, instead of requiring both SKUs to be in the cart

to receive SKU 3.

Ideally, the system should only release the gift when both products are in the cart together.

What you can try to do to work around this is to add 2 items in the promotion settings as shown below:

Then the rule will look like this:

It’s still not the perfect scenario for the promotion you need, but at least it will require 2 items to be purchased. I believe that based on the explanation you provide about the promotion in the rules, the person will add 1 of each item to the cart — but if that’s not the case, the freebie will only be unlocked if they add at least 2 of those items, not just 1 as in your current setup.

Hope this helped.
