Marketplace Content Down

I’m facing the following problem: our store is selling products to partners via outbound marketplace. The thing is, VTEX pulls all product content, including internal links in the product page texts. So when someone accesses the product on the partner’s site and clicks one of those links, they end up buying from our site instead, which hurts the partner’s sales.

Is there any way to customize the content that gets sent to the partner? For example, to have it go without those links?

Hey @robsonassis, welcome to the VTEX Community!

A few clarifying questions to understand what’s going on on your end:

  • Is the marketplace integration native VTEX-VTEX or with an external marketplace?

    • If it’s an external marketplace, which connector is being used?
  • What are these links in the PDP text?

    • Can you share an example product from your store so we can take a look?
  • Would it be feasible to remove the links from the product description?

The integration is native VTEX to VTEX as far as I know. The links point to other product categories and brand pages within the site itself.

The internal linking strategy is part of the content strategy, but if we can’t remove those links from the content that goes to the partner, it will be better to avoid using them.
