Converting freight spreadsheet from M³ to KG

Todas as planilhas que temos das transportadoras são calculadas em m³, porém a VTEX só aceita em kg. Como vocês fazem essa conversão? Trabalhamos com móveis, então não podemos enviar pelo Correios.

Good afternoon, Desiree!

We’re revisiting some topics in our community that have gone unanswered, and I ended up finding yours. Well… Converting kilograms (kg) to cubic meters (m³) involves dividing the mass by the density value. The general formula that should be applied is as follows:

Volume (m³) = Mass (kg) / Density (kg/m³)

In this case, just as with the conversion from m³ to kg, the density needs to be provided in kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m³) to obtain an accurate conversion.

That said, I believe the only way to do this is by obtaining an average density value for your products or by reaching out to the carriers in question so they can confirm whether other spreadsheets are available.
