Danfe (invoice)

I would like to know how the team can access an already invoiced order and print the DANFE (Nota Fiscal)?

Hi Danfe,

You can follow the instructions in this link from the help center, in the “Download Invoice” section.

Hi Francisco,

To help your team download an Invoice (Nota Fiscal) within the VTEX platform, here is the path they should follow:

Invoice (Nota Fiscal) from the billing statement

  1. Go to the Admin.
  2. Select the Billing module.
  3. Click on Statements.
  4. Then, select the invoice you want to view.
  5. Click the Open Invoice button, located on the right side of the invoice.

This way, the Invoice will open in another tab in your browser.
Click Print NFS-e above the Invoice header.

  1. Under Destination, select the option Save as PDF.
  2. To finish, click Save.

If you’d like to see the full step-by-step, visit: https://help.vtex.com/pt/tutorial/como-fazer-download-faturas-da-vtex--tutorials_653

I hope this helped

It did help, but I still don’t know how to upload the PDF to the site so the team can access it

Hey @FranciscoScore, how’s it going? Welcome to the VTEX community.

Regarding “sending the invoice in PDF to the site”, the ideal approach is that after issuing the invoices through the SEFAZ (state tax authorities) and Receita Federal (Brazilian Federal Revenue) systems, each generated link should be attached to an ERP with an integration that sends the Invoice link to the Order in VTEX. By doing this, the DANFE will be available for download for your team as described in the step-by-step guide suggested by @joao.ramos and the @ImediataDesign1 team, and it will also trigger the “Order Invoiced” transactional email notifying the customer that their order has been invoiced, with a download link.

In other words, you’ll need to have the DANFE at a public web address using the link generated when the invoice (NF) is issued, and then attach that link to the VTEX order — either via API integration or manually, as described in the documentation Como Faturar um Pedido.
