Audit, as mentioned in the documentation above, aims to increase transparency and trust among your store’s administrative users. In it, VTEX records various operations, their authors, and the times at which they occurred. Audit is therefore a module used to search and investigate this history with the help of filters.
Where can you find Audit in your VTEX store?
Audit is located under the “Apps” section → “INSTALLED APPS” → “Audit”:
To find price change records for a specific SKU, you need to select “Prices” in the application menu and add the “Event Details” filter, which should be filled in with the skuId of the SKU for which you want to find the price change logs, and then select the time period:
In the following example, using skuId 74 and with the defined period set to September of this year, we have:
In this case, the Author is vtex-service::pricing-wrk::Stable — what does this mean?
This author refers to modifications that require action from the internal pricing service (Pricing Worker).
This typically happens when the modification is triggered by a scheduled fixed price or bulk changes, such as a price import.
