FAQ: Recaptcha Information; Transaction Limiter and Digital Certificate

This tool presents a “challenge” that must be completed before finishing a purchase. Its purpose is to validate whether the user is real.

For ReCAPTCHA, there are two possible activation variables:

If needed, you can adjust this setting yourself using the APIs below:

With the activation set to the vtexCriteria option, ReCAPTCHA will only be required in cases of suspicious purchases, as described in our documentation: ReCAPTCHA at Checkout

Transaction Limiter

Digital Certificate

To access your digital certificate:

  1. Click the padlock next to your store’s URL and then click “Connection is secure”;
  2. Click “Certificate is valid”;
  3. Your website’s Digital Certificate will open.
