Error downloading spreadsheets in VTEX

Hi everyone, I’m trying to download a product spreadsheet and a specifications spreadsheet, and I’m getting the following error:
“Something unexpected happened: An error has occurred: Error to send email for account malwee.”

How do we fix this? The files are not arriving in our email.

Hi @Mayte, how are you?

In most cases, this problem is related to catalog permissions.

1. Check that the email used has the appropriate permission

  • VTEX sends the file to the logged-in user’s email.
  • Make sure the email is:
    • active
    • has Admin or Catalog permission
    • validated in VTEX’s license manager.

2. Try with another VTEX user (preferably a Super owner admin)

  • Log in with another user on your VTEX account.
  • Go back to Catalog > Export products or specifications and run the export.

3. Check the active email template

  • Check that the file export template is active in the module https://[nomecontadaloja].myvtex.com/admin/message-center#/templates
