Running a cron with in the VTEX IO app

Is it possible to run a cron within the VTEX IO node.js app? If possible how we can trigger it without making it an endpoint?

I don’t believe it is possible to run a cron from within VTEX. The closest thing that would fit is this response from George on another topic, which is in portuguese:
