Note: If your payment connector is on the list above, check with your payment partner when the version aligned with our PPP (Payment Provider Protocol) will be available.

Update: We recently had another announcement listing the legacy connectors to be removed from the VTEX platform and the new connectors (integrated via Payment Provider Protocol) already available to replace them:

My connector isn’t on the list — can I check its version in my store to make sure it won’t be discontinued?

Yes, you can check whether your connector follows our PPP as follows:

1. Go to the transactions page, click on one of the transactions made with the connector you want to check, and then click “+ Information”:

2. Once you do that, various transaction details will be displayed. One of them will be the connector field — if your connector is based on the PPP, this field will show the following format: Vtex.PaymentGateway.Connectors.PaymentProvider.PaymentProviderConnector:

Note: If this field shows something like Vtex.PaymentGateway.Connectors.YourConnectorName, your connector may be a legacy connector.

I need to change my payment connector — what should I do?

We have documentation in our help center that can assist: Configure a payment connector | VTEX Help Center

1. To change your payment connector, you’ll first need to register a new gateway affiliation. To do so, go to your Admin and navigate to: :gear: Store Settings → Payments → Providers → “New provider”:

To find the desired connector, just search by its name:

2. Once you’ve found the new connector to configure, fill in the required information. Keep in mind that the details needed for this setup must be provided by your payment connector:

3. After configuring the new connector, you’ll need to update the connector directly in your payment method. To do this, select the payment method whose connector you want to change:

Then update the affiliation in the “Process with provider” field:

We recommend running a test after making the changes to make sure everything is working correctly with the new provider.

Important notes:

  • If your store decides to switch connectors, make sure the version you’re contracting supports all the payment methods already in use in your store.

  • When you select a provider that hasn’t been configured in a payment condition yet, the system will automatically redirect you to that provider’s configuration page.

If you still have any questions about this, feel free to ask here!

Hello,

We reached out to Rede and were informed that they are in the process of an update.
With that in mind, we would like to confirm with you (VTEX) what the actual status of the ERede connector is.

Will it be maintained or discontinued?

Good afternoon, Thayrini!

The legacy connectors that currently exist will indeed be discontinued, but the Network is developing a new connector that supports our PPP protocol, so you can rest assured about that.

@KarinaMota , It’s getting complicated — in our case it’s CieloV3 that’s being discontinued and the replacement is CieloEcommerce, but even they don’t know for sure what needs to be filled in when registering the Provider. I’ve been running tests for almost a month now.
VTEX really needs to revisit these deadlines.

@thayrini.notolini , In our case, since we use the Itaú/Grupo Rede Boleto (ItauShopline), the suggestion was to hire the Maxipago Gateway — with it, you’d have the option of credit card, PIX, and boleto in the “new standard”. NOTE: There is a cost per transaction.

Can anyone tell me if there’s a boleto (bank slip) configuration for Itaú?

We previously had Itaú Shopline, but since it was discontinued, we now only use the Maxipago Gateway from the group.
